Navigate between views

[SHIFT] + [DIRECTION]

Play all tracks regardless of current view

[SHIFT] + [PLAY]

Mute (temporary) the current track

[OPTION] + [SHIFT] and release [SHIFT] first

Mute (hold) on the current track

[OPTION] + [SHIFT] and release [OPTION] first. To unmute, repeat the combination

Solo (temporary) the current track

[OPTION] + [PLAY] and release [PLAY] first

Solo (hold) on the current track

[OPTION] + [PLAY] and release [OPTION] first. To unsolo, repeat the combination

Clears all mute and solos

[OPTION] + [SHIFT] + [PLAY] 

Change or edit the selected value by small steps

[EDIT] + [LEFT or RIGHT]

Change or edit the selected value in large steps

[EDIT] + [UP or DOWN]

Insert the last edited or deleted chain, phrase, instrument or value

Press [EDIT] on an empty cell. This basically copies the last edit item. It works in song, chain, phrase, groove and table views

Insert a new unused chain, phrase, instrument or value

Double tap [EDIT] on an empty cell or null value. This works in song, chain or phrase views. On a command value column where the command is TBL or GRV, it sets the value to a new unused table

Delete a chain, phrase, note or any entry in a cell

[EDIT] + [OPTION] on a cell in song, chain, phrase, table, groove and scale views

Set the selected parameter to its default value

[EDIT] + [OPTION] on a parameter in instrument, mixer, effects, project and MIDI views

Create and recall song snapshot

Press [SHIFT] + [OPTION] to create a snapshot. Press [SHIFT] + [EDIT] to recall the created snapshot. This works in mixer, effects and project views

Enter selection mode

[SHIFT] + [OPTION]. This works in song, chain, phrase, groove and table views

Quickly select a column, row or all in selection mode

[SHIFT] + [OPTION] and then release [OPTION] first. While holding [SHIFT], press [OPTION] once to select column, press [OPTION] again to select row or press [OPTION] again to select all. This works in chain, phrase, groove and table views

Quickly select multiple rows in selection mode

[SHIFT] + [OPTION] + [OPTION] + [OPTION] and then you can press [UP or DOWN] to select more rows. This works in chain, phrase, groove and table views

Play only the selected rows

Enter the selection mode, select chains, phrases or notes and press [PLAY]. Lets you audition only the selected rows and it's useful for testing specific sections of your songs. This works in song, chain and phrase views

Copy chains, phrases and/or values and exit selection mode

Enter the selection mode, select the content with [DIRECTION] and then [OPTION] to copy the content and/or quit the selection mode. This works in song, chain, phrase, groove and table views

Cut or delete chains, phrases and/or values with selection mode

Enter the selection mode, select the content with [DIRECTION] and then [EDIT] + [OPTION] to cut or delete the selection. This works in song, chain, phrase, groove and table views

Paste copied or cut chains, phrases and/or values with the selection mode

After cutting or copying the source content, place the cursor in the desired location and press [SHIFT] + [EDIT]. This works in song, chain, phrase, groove and table views

See all the waveforms on the screen

Press all [DIRECTION] keys at the same time. This does not work in headless

Change multiple chains, phrases and/or values at the same time

Enter the selection mode and select chains, phrases and/or values with [DIRECTION]. Then hold [EDIT] and press [LEFT or RIGHT] to change in small steps or [UP or DOWN] to change in large steps. This works in song, chain, phrase, groove and table views

Interpolate notes or values in a selected area

Place a value on a step and a different value on another step a few rows below. Then, select the area between those two values, including the values you entered. Lastly, press [SHIFT] + [EDIT] to fill all the steps between with interpolated values. Note: You need to add an FX command to all applicable rows to interpolate effects values, otherwise this shortcut won't work

Queue a new song while another one is playing

Enter the project view while a song is playing and load a new song. The new song will start playing after the playing song reaches the end of a chain

Tap tempo

Select the TEMPO parameter in the project view and tap [EDIT] to enter tempo

Create a template song

Save a song named TEMPLATE in /SYSTEM. This will be the default when you create a new song

Create a custom startup sequence

Open the STARTUP.m8s in /SYSTEM and save over it
