Place the cursor over a command value column where the command is GRV and press [SHIFT] + [OPTION, then EDIT] to copy the contents of the selected groove into the next empty groove
While in selection mode, highlight note column and rows and use (firmware 3.0.4 and above):
[OPTION] + [LEFT] to cycle between fill spacings
[OPTION] + [RIGHT] to generate a random note sequence (and velocity, if velocity column is selected)
[OPTION] + [UP] to randomize the notes up
[OPTION] + [DOWN] to randomize notes down
Undo fill is possible by using the paste shortcut, after exiting selection mode [SHIFT] + [EDIT]
Place a note on the first and last steps of a phrase. Then press [SHIFT] + [OPTION] + [OPTION] to quickly select a column. Lastly, press [SHIFT] + [EDIT] to fill all the steps with notes. If, for example, the first and last steps have notes that are 16 semitones apart, then each step will have a different semitone within that range. This can be used for just a few steps instead of the whole column as well. Can be useful for quickly distributing all the slices of a sample, for example
Select the instrument in the row of the first note and then leave the instrument column empty for the following notes
If there's an * next to the phrase number at the top of the phrase view, then that the phrase is used elsewhere in the chain or song
